Polo Flats Toilets and Showers
I have read most of the posts here and no-one mentioned the toilets and showers, so I thought hey, why not give them a thread.
When we heard that the organisers were having the portable showers and toilets, I thought oh oh! I envisioned them to be the little individual green/blue units that usually are oh so grose to use after a huge line up, so we will take our own. Well we never did set up ours due to the fact that we were very impressed with the awesome facilities that were there. No matter what time it was, day or night there was never a line up and they were clean and efficient. The only hic cup was one day the ladies showers turned into a lake, but was quickly amended by the maintenance men. As we left on the Monday morning we gave a hearty landrover wave to the maintenance men for a job well done…..and they waved back and they weren’t even in a LR. We would just like to add our congrats to the organisers for the terrific facilities. |

That must have been me complaining the strips in the ladies' doorway wouldn't stay open with the wind.
![]() I only saw one bloke walk into the ladies' shower trailer. No, it wasn't me!

G'day Folks
![]() I will heartly agree with those comments, they were very welcome and were kept extremely clean, the water was hot and the pressure was good, only trouble that I had was that the toilet pedestals were a little low for us aged folk but that was more my creaking bones than anything else![]() cheers

no compliant from me ,the toilet and showers were great ,on first day when I went to have a shower because the floor was slanted i felt a bit queezy specially after a bit night on the drink , but well adjusted once I was in there after a few minutes , well done to the blokes who worked around the clock to keep the toilet and showers clean and respectable.

No complaints that I could make. I was surprised the number of early starters each morning, although this has nothing to do with the quality of the facilities, but the ready supply of hot water meant there was no excuse for staying in bed.

The guys maintaining the facilities did great job, but they must have been bored out of their minds. They had to hang around the trailers and prime mover for hours on end and there was always at least one of them around. They weren't too squeamish either. Right under the trailer with the crappers, nestled in among all the chemicals, buckets, brooms and brushes was a toaster and kettle
