New South Wales information only!!
Today I have had the run around, bloody people who don't know their respective jobs. It first started back in mid Dec 2014 when all 10 Historic registrations came due, all vehicles checked by designated club inspectors etc, the vehicle in question is this one

I had an engine rebuilt last year and it had been fitted therefore needing an engine number change at the RMS.
The young man who dealt with all the paper work told me I only needed to have the engine number checked against the chassis number of the vehicle "Blue Slip' he said, and I had to have it done as soon as possible, well with the stupid season etc it didn't happen until today.
Off early this morning to the business to have it done, after talking with the chap who was going to do the examination, he to me seemed like he knew what I was talking about "WRONG" never assume that anyone understands anything. He was going to put me through the full blown "Unregistered" blue slip, I told him the vehicle has 12 months rego on it, all he has to do was check the numbers, anyway after a bit of heated words either way his boss came out and put him on the right track, all that was needed, was this form

so if anyone here in NSW has to do an engine change, with no modifications whatsoever, this is the form that you need to have completed, hoping it's of some help to someone so they don't have the stress that I had this morning, anyway all good now, and to top it off, NO FEE @ RMS either hows that for a change in NSW, something for nothing LOL cheers Dennis

Considering the time you put into your collection and the service you freely give to the community you should be granted free rego for all 10 of them.
