15-16/5/10 Levuka 4wd Park

THIS IS AN OPEN WEEKEND ALL LANDROVER OWNERS ARE WELCOME!!

This is a oppoortunity to enjoy the fantastic Levuka 4wd Park over the weekend of the 15-16 of May.

This is a camping weekend and fees are per the Parks website
Levuka - Rainforest Recreation Park, bush camping with nature based activities and 4WD tracks

the trip leader will be confirmed at the next club meeting on the 10//5/10

Meeting point is the MacDonalds in Beaudesert for a 8:30 departure

The park has something to offer everyone from bushwalking to cycling and of course 4wding

So how did it go?

All of the blockers that prevented me coming this weekend fizzled out by 10am Saturday

Soccer was cancelled & the working bee I was 'volunteered' for was done by 9:30.

Next time I'm going to cancel everything else & come no matter what........fortunately SWMBO doesn't read this forum

The weekend was an absolute blast, there was only 3 cars including my own but everyone had a fantastic time.

Weather was lovely, temperature was nice, 4wd'ing was awesome. Had some great fun on some difficult tracks, had to do a tricky recovery in a rock creekbed (had to lift a vehicle because a rock had got jammed underneath on 2 points - the cross-member and the exhaust).

I think I speak for all the participants when I say that you missed out on a really really good weekend, sorry you couldn't make it.
