I remember that there used to be a Toyota Diff centre along the side of the track during the late 70's and early eighties.Used to be a well known landmark!

never got up there myself, my mates went up there one sundey while i was chasing a rather nice girly.
did a few trips up to heart break hill and cut my 4wding teeth on the steps at Oxford falls, grew up just over the hill and was up there most weekends, or down at the shoalhaven.
those were the days!

what a great shot of a great camp site. I still have a rooftent exactly the same as this one.. last big trip with it was around Australia in a defender a couple of years ago. Its getting pretty tired now

Thanks...The GCLRO club do series/leaf spring runs regularly as we have many members who have restored them and some drive them daily....was a pleasure to see the shots as mine is in the same era..thanks again for the pics

Great memories. I remember doing Wirraba Ridge in a WW2 Willys with 3 of us in it. As far as being able to run any of those trip destinations from 1979 there would only be one or two you could do these days if you were lucky.
