Which one fits a D2 Td5? The inline would be better if it fits

I went for the one that fits under the radiator hose, at the radiator.
Easy to fit, no cutting of hoses, less area's to leak!

Hi Ron
The inline has a greater sensor area so more effective.
Also the sensor is held midstream and fixed.
Quality housing,more chance of the wire under the hose leaking.

my fender is off being repaired....is there enough room on a tdi for the inline, i cann't just pop out and lift the bonnet

Yes, mine is in the top rad hose. Easy job.

Also, when I changed the coolant some time after fitting, asnd didn't bleed it perfectly first go, the thing alarmed at idle, so it's nicely sensitive too!

does anybody know how thick the plastic is on the inline jobby

was thinking i might move my temp sender and tap into it

i have a thermo couple - mechanical type temp gauge, not real happy with its current location
