New D3 Radio buttons 4 sale for the site.

Hi D3 owners, if you have a Discovery 3 that does not the Radio Buttons fitted to the steering wheel then here is an opportunity to get a set of switches cheap.

Thanks to sniegy, the AULRO web site has two sets of brand new Land Rover Discovery 3 Radio Switches that will be sold to the highest bidder.

Set one is Grey on Grey and set two is Silver on Grey.

If you are interested, PM me your preferred colour and how much you are preferred to pay.

The bidding is opened for one week.

The highest bid will be posted after the bidder has paid and the switches are on there way to them.

NOTE, all money raised will be put towards running the site.

Thanks again sniegy.

Great to hear!!!
We need projects to kick ANY funds into running the site.
Raffles, auctions, prize donations for raffles etc etc etc.
If any of you out there have legitimate fundraisers please contact any of the moderators,MUCH APPRECIATED.
Its a great website, and growing much faster than we can raise funds to run!!!!
Well done Sniegy and Drivesafe
Andrew

How do they work Tim? Installation wise? Dad might be interested in a set for his D3.

Hi LandyAndy, all thanks goes to sniegy for supplying the gear.

Hi djhampson, there's a thread on UKD3 web site that gives full installation info, I’ll try and find it and post a link.

It’s not all that hard to install as the wire loom and plugs are already there, but having said that, I got mine installed by the dealer.

Cheers.

A little bird told me that at the Land Rover 60th celebrations, someone was talking to the head of LRA and was told by same that Land Rover rates the AULRO web site as one of the two top Land Rover web sites in the world.

Don’t ask me what the other site was, I don’t know or care, as this IS the best one.

Cheers and all the best to you Inc!

I don't suppose there's any chance of the rest of the D3 being offered the same way

Think of how much money it would raise for the site

Big thanks to sniegy & drivesafe.

When you mention "grey on grey" & "silver on grey", to what are you referring?

Best Wishes,

So who missed the chance to nab him for sponsorship then? Maybe they coudl donate a Defender 90 for a raffle??

Oh, and how does one bid? I was going to pick these up in the UK from the dealer mentioned in the thread, as there was no way in hell I was paying LRA prices here...but to support the site is a different matter. Is it single sealed bid, open auction, what??

Oh, and is there a link to the colours so I can work out what will match the cruise buttons the other side of the wheel?
