If the motor has only done 20,000 kms then it's a downright BARGAIN!

Landies weak points are the Rover V8, but the drivetrain is pretty good. That's why so many are still on the road today.

When petrol is $1.50 a litre, diesel will be $1.60 or more. An LPG Rover is going to be very very appealing for city drivers.

p.s. I have a DII V8 on LPG. Loving it. Shame that the old motor had to slip a liner, but now there's a new motor in it, worth $8K.

I wouldnt say the Landies weak point are the Rover V8.I have had many over the years and never had one problem with them.I have one in my Disco and one in a Rover 3500 SD1 which is turbocharged. And has never let me down. And it has really copped a good hiding. As long as you know they have had the usual servicing they are as good as any other engine.Plus having them on gas is always good.Sorry if this has nothing to do with this thread.Just putting my 2 cents worth.
