You may well be right - or at least it solved the 'problem' of having to agree to a new name and get it approved all up the line!

2stroke on here reckons that driving a Perentie is like driving a Series Landrover

I thought they rode a tad better due to the coils in the 110 Perentie

Yep I drove one the other day thought it was great. Suspension did seem a little firmer. I'll be buying one

I have 130 springs on my Perentie.

The ride is excellent, softer than a 2014 Puma Defender I rode in recently.

The front 130 springs are a little under rated for the heavier Isuzu motor.

You will also find that the 6x6 perentie is considered a 110 too, as is my Defender 6x6 although on mine the intermediate axle and chassis in front of the spring mount is actually all 110.

I intend hopefully to get a 6X6 from the current round of auctions and am interested in one in Darwin. Is there anyone in Darwin going for a squizz at the vehicles there?. The one I am interested in is described as incomplete and not operational but all that appears to be wrong with it is the rear axle driveshaft is missing ( well actually half of it is on the tray in one of the pics). They haven't added many pictures so it's a bit hard to ascertain what actually makes it "not operational". It would be great if there was someone who could have a quick look at it for me and see what is actually wrong with it. Thanks
    Cheers......Brian

the 130 springs are softer?? I would have thought it was the other way round?? because the 130 is a ute....

Does the army 110 have a higher payload or something????
