Talking V8 Exhaust, what a note

Hi fellers,
After wanting to change the exhaust on my rangie and putting it off an off and off a recent scrub trip crushed the back muffler, it made my mind up "it's time to change the exhaust".
So i took it down to Mr muffler at sumner park and asked for a custom system, to make it sound like a real v8.
The end result is more than i could have hoped for ans it now sounds like a bigger v8. I also got a dumpy made up for future scrub trips so i wont crush it again. Undo 3 bolts, bolt on the dumpy and the exhaust is dumped at the diff.
The video doesn't do it justice but you get the idea.

Cheers
Mick

Love the Noise... If you're feeling creative I've love to hear what it sounds like inside the Car with the Windows Closed....

I love a Good Exhaust note... but not all the time...

If it's quiet enough at 100kmh on the Highway, but loud under revs ete... then I'd be interested to do the same to mine...

That sounds great! Very similar to a big old carby fed Chev!

Is it a 2 1/2" system the whole way through or bigger?

Cheers

No. It doesn't sound like the nice throb of an American V8 - it's just like it has no muffler and that's not a good sound.

I wonder what the coppers will think.
