I have a Cannondale Saeco road bike for the Sat & Sun pre-breakfast rides
(62k circuit - river loop for Brisbane road riders), Repco Superlite for the uni commute and a Univega Alpina for local rides with my kids.

I have a Kona Coiler. Love this bike, but havent even seen it in 2 years. It is still back in Melbourne, can't wait to get there at christmas and take it out.

Used to freqently ride Mt Donna Buang and Mt Dandy. Mt Donna is by far my favorite though, min 20min completely down hill, hanging on by your finger nails.

Unfortuantely I have had back problems for the last 18 months and only just started back on the pushy after a break of 12 months.

Man, it's hard to get the legs going again.
Great bikes, Hucksta - see why you love'em.
I don't have a road bike: the bike I ride on the road is an 07 Specialized Tricross (Expert Double). Brilliant for my sort of riding. A favourite ride is a loop from Warburton to Marysville and back to Warburton via the Acheron Way - of which 10km or so is rough-ish gravel. Mates on road bikes find it quite stressfull. Not me: the TriCross has 700 x 32 tyres. Dura-Ace rear, Carbon cranks, tough but weighs 9.8kg. OK, I know your Cannondale would be 2 or 3 Kg lighter, but I could lose that!

Also have a Stumpjumper FSR Comp - but I'm a bit of a tyro on the mountain bike.

Recently replaced my Rangie with a Disco. One good outcome is I can stand the TriCross upright in the back, which I definitely couldn't in the Rangie.

Happy pedaling!
