    CALLING ALL GEOCACHERS!!

Who here is active or is familiar with the GPS activity known as geocaching?
Keen to find a few others. I think a couple of AULRO geocoins would be pretty cool.
This is a hand in hand thing to do when out trekking the bush and if you cant find one, then drop one!!
If you dont know anything about it, go to Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site or www.geocaching.com.au for more details!

I'm keen to try it but as there is only one cache within coo-ee of here and to the best of my knowledge it was destroyed or removed last year I can't do much.

Did get first visit on a confluence point though

I really enjoy caching. On a recent trip I knocked over 18 caches and hesitantly decided to put up a new one. I say hesitantly because I don't live any where near it but the spot really deserved one.

Some of the nicest spots we have found have been because of caching. I think in a few years when I can afford too I might do a trip just to find caches.

And women think men cant do two things at once!! I can 4WD AND cache!!!
Good to see it may be generating some interest. If you are not sure of how many there are in your area, download the google earth kml file from the geocaching.com website and load it into google earth!!

When I go on a trip I'll look for the ones in the area but don't set out specifically to find or hide them anymore.

Love the hobby, active for over 4 yrs. Have made a whole range of new friends. Ties in well with 4wding & camping. Happy to show those in SE Qld.
