    Monday arvo in the shed...

    Started these yesterday. Almost done, just need to finish off the front mount for the passenger side then prime and paint.

    Slightly different design to the usual. Side rails level with lower filler panel. Rails go through the thin ally panel and bolt to chassis behind.
    I dont go rock hopping so actual sills need no protection from below. Saves on the weight of using 75x50 or what ever.
    Rails are essentially for when working through tea tree swamps etc etc
    If you look at the fenders panels you'll realise I should have made these years ago!

    They don't actually help much a step either but that is life. Toughen up.

    I then made the brush bars easy to bolt on at the bar and front of corner of the side rail. With a spare tow hitch and a little poke jiggery the pair of brush bars will bolt together to make an a-frame. After chain towing several vehicles out of the scrub, figured this may come in handy.
