The Streak tidy up commences

Finally I managed to get the Streak (54 Series1 107) into her spot where she will probably spend the next 6 months being made ready for active duty once again, in the last week I managed to lift the floors out, find some crack that need some love, scrubbed the gearbox clean and de gooked the gearbox linkage and got that all moving again, the wiring was removed tonite when I say removed it took best part of 5 mins, it wasnt done with any great love, all Lucas components are being pulled out and discarded, I have already made up the new Headlight harness and dug up some nice H7 with halogens and a nice heavy relay, I knew when we closed the wrecking yard I was doing the right thing by boxing up certian things and taking home to store. Ford parts in a Landy? its got a Holden donk so why not ford parts too.
Tomorrow weather permitting the radiator will come out and the engine will be stripped of its accessories so they can be cleaned and sorted out, my first order of biz is to get the engine bay stripped and scrubbed and painted out closely followed by the dash side of the firewall, this will enable me to get the rest of the harness made loomed up and secured, This weekend I shall fire up the old camera and post up what I have done and where I am upto, hopefully I will remember to keep updating as I go along .
