I just finished fitting the cargo barrier to the Landy. The instructions unfortunately were incomplete, so I did some measuring and did it myself.

Installation was as follows:


The kit

Instructions aren't very good


Remove cover to expose bolt


Remove seat belt anchor bolt


Remove trim bolts, nuts and spacers


The trim bolt, nut and spacer (note - there are three either side of the cargo area.


I needed to remove all of the trim for easy access


Measure 120mm from the seat belt attachment bracket, and drill a 12mm hole. Couple of things here. 1/ you will need to remove the set screw in the channel; and 2/ you are actually drilling through 3 bits of steel, so don't rush it.


The distance between the two holes are 48mm, but I found it easier to connect the bracket and mark it then.


Once the second hole is completed, fit the bracket but leave it loose.


Fit the trim back into place, then secure the two bolts with the allen key.


Top mounts done, bottom to go.


I didn't have any instructions for the bottom mounts, so I did some measuring and fitting mucking around with the seats. The mounts can't be faced rearwards, so they had to go to the front of the vehicle. Securing and drilling was the exact same as the above mounts, keeping in mind that you're drilling through the floor - so make sure that there's nothing underneath that's important.

I've still got a few things to do in the rear of the vehicle, like fitting the rubber back in as well as fixing up the rear storage area. Basically I am running some ply wood across the wheel arches, with 4 containers underneath for easy access.

Then I am building a storage box either side to take advantage of the areas there. The fridge etc will sit above the ply wood. I will use marine carpet on the ply wood most likely. As per normal I will take pics etc as I do it so you can all see it.
