Series III SWB - Too good to wreck?

Drove past a house down the street today where there was a Landy that had been on fire, and noticing the excellent tyres decided to see if it was for sale. It was (this is genuinely a pathological condition, right?) and so I bought it. Turns out it's licensed and the poor bloke who owned it just fitted new front drums, cylinders, lines, skimmed the rears, etc., had the radiator rodded etc., and spent a lot of money on it, only to have it stolen and burned. The motor looks great, although needing lots of "soft" parts...

Anybody know where there might be a similar vehicle with bad mechanicals that might make a good donor of panels and wires and stuff? Needs to be in WA.

I'll sell you my LWB S3, although nothing is original and it is in fine working order.....worth too much to be a good donor vehicle most likely, but if you are interested let me know....

I have almost all the bits you need on a donor car with a broken rear axle shaft, no gearbox, no seat base and rusted door tops. I also have a ute cab, a petrol and diesel 2.25L. It looks like you need a gearstick or two as well, I have those too. That is if you feel like a two hour drive to Collie. PM sent.

    Newbiest error

Gulp. I was just looking at some pics of a SWB and thought, "Gee that's short..."

    You guessed it, mine's a 109. Don't ask why I didn't notice.

    Lengthy SWB

You're all embarrassed you didn't notice either?

OK, we have the body off, pics here:

(Front right wing OK, and bonnet and tailgate. Everything else is melted!)
