Sealing the slits in my door seals

Was a nice day so I decided today is the day.
After reading recomendations I had 2 choices, 1st was use 6mm rubber or 2nd use fly wire inserting rubber.
Choose 2nd as had some in shed after nephew walked through my screen door(Can't pick your rellies).
Thicker softer tube may be better as fly wire rubber apears to small to me.

    Cut 8 lengths to 250mm.
    Then X8,
Insert to hole on rear most section(Inside edge)
Insert RTV sealent in rubber in both openings both sides.
Fill gap and wet finger with water and smooth over as best you can(Got the hang of it on the last door)

Leave doors open as long as possible, 24 hour cure time.

    Hints,
Use a small rag to wipe hands as you wipe/smooth over.
Wait for 10mins. to do final finish. I got so carried away they had cured before I got back to them.
Water on finger stops the RTV sticking to your finger, sort of

Sorry for the way the pics. are shown, still learning and tried some thing different.

    Cheers

For the RTV sealant and other kind... just mix a bit soap with the water and your finger will slide over the sealant without sticking on it and you will avoid to wet the sealant to much too.

    Cheers
