Just got an Autobiography

Hi, i have never owned a rangie, only 1 or 2 110s, discos, and series. Today i bought a 98 Autobiography, which is being delivered next week (from vic). Apart from lots of wood inside, whats the difference between this and a HSE?
I will post up some pictures soon. (Ron will cry)

From memory they were about a $150k car weren't they?

I think the SE was about $99k and the HSE about $115k. So if those prices are right they must have been veeeeery flash cars.

The Autobiography is not a whole lot different to the HSE. They offered of different mix and match colour schemes so you you could "Make it your own" - hence the name.

Most have cream leather with either green or burgundy inserts, a leather and wood steering wheel, and lots of burled walnut all around the dash and console.

The inbuilt satnav was also an option I think, but AFAIK the engine and other specs are the same.

I had one as my wedding car in 1997. It belonged to the MD of Jag Rover at the time.

It was true love that day ......... oh, and I got married.

Why does this always happen to me.......
I bought this autobiography yesterday after months and months of searching for a cheap-and-not-rough one, and a bloke rings me up today and asks if i want a 95 hse for 4k with only 163000kms on the dial. I check it out, and the only problem is that it comes up with a transfer neutral fault on the dash. He was driving earlier in the day and then refused to select a gear. For 4k, i wish i hadnt bought the one yesterday..... or could con the wife into getting rid of her commodore.
