at the tender centre Lismore ( tender.net.au)

one 1981 Ser3 FFR with hardtop on it,
bearing NSW plates YMM-389 registered until Feb 09.

FW Hubs
Overdrive
202 motor
80,000 km on clock.

from the plate,
Census 6006
Chassis 511918
contract V108721
del 3/81

also has mod plate intact. all mods done expt 10 ,12 and 17 to 24

condition ooh , has been painted in some sort of black shiny stuff that looks like rustguard, all over, has a rust hole in the drivers side of the firewall, has all the ffr instruments, operators seat, brush bar. no pintle
rust hole in the rear crossmember.

oops sorry this is a not for sale thread.

anyway the link to tender is up there.
no really interested, figure the paint is covering a multitude of sins, especially the line of big rivets down both sides of the tub wher eth spot welds have let go.

another one for the list

11A w/s spotted in Bundy

spotted this one today outside a house in Bundy. knocked on the door and was told by the owner's wife, he (hubby) was not a Landy member be she will get him to call me so I can have a chat and get some more details. For privacy reasons, I will speak with the owner before I post any details. I have checked the chassis no. and it is on the REMLR register as a 178-XXX ARN.

Not sure if this is ex-mil or not, but could be a good project for someone.

Found this S3 sitting in a wreckers yard in Perth. It is for sale but owner (who has left the Landy at the premises) wants wwwwaaaaayyyyyy toooooo much for it.

I have left my contact details with them should they be unable sell to it and want it out of the yard. This S3 needs a lot of work to bring it up to any form of display/roadworthy condition

See 'Spotted in My Travels' for more photos.

I ran the numbers on that one as well treds. Our listing isn't 100%, but then again the series 2 vehicles were exxentially civilian vehicles with minor modification.s

I just noticed it has the trim under the doors, which I didn't think Military vehicles had.
I'm thinking I might give him an offer and see if he'll take it. The body panels and rear member are in better condition than mine

Talking

My dad just bought an ex-army 1969 IIA 3/4 ton GS...

ARN 174-352
Chassis 25327897D
Engine 25328642K

From the REMLR site I believe its all matching numbers. She's is pretty good condition - runs but needs a bit of work to be roadworthy again in all its former glory, apparently was purchased originally at a Melbourne auction about a decade ago, then bought privately by a guy in Bright Vic, and now just changed into good hands again.
