Discovered - Just the facts

As suggested by a forum member, I'm starting this thread up for vehicles that have been spotted and people just want to post the chassis numbers etc that they have found out about that vehicle, and a short sentince on what their location, status and condition are for inclusion in the register.

Also, if you are a REMLR member, make sure you include your REMLR number so that I can reference who spotted it

s2a workshop? 178-049

found chassis number 25335374G for sale in emerald
currently has a civvy ute cab and alloy trayback fitted, still has army brush bar.
didn't get engine number but chassis is in excellent
condition. will go back for further look.

Heres another SWB that has surfaced here in Perth.

It's interesting to note that it was fitted for stretchers.

112-741 88 1963 Series 2A c6005A 25143936C 24303585A WA. 'Fitted w/Stretcher frame' Sold - 17.05.77

Fitted for stretchers means that it was one of the forward area ambulances

I don't have a chassis number but i saw a brand new grey defender with a roof rack with a white tent looking thing in it and it had an arb bullbar.
Spotted in woolgoolga 20km north of coffs harbour.

that is very close to the chassis number on "VET"

arn 112-429 88" 6/1963 .
Series 2A c6005
engine 25143933C
chassis 24303646A

if my maths is right about 61 earlier...

and Horrie...
112-769 88"...6/63..
Series 2A..c6005
chassis 24303878A

Which is ummmm…293 or thereabouts away….
