ACCO F1 Grazing in a Paddock

G'day All

Found this F1 GS sitting in a paddock here in the outskirts of Perth. I have spoken to the owner and he tells me it was used to cart hay bales up until 18 months ago. It runs and drives (no licence) and is very original It has below average amount of rust in cab and much better than most. The cab is definately restorable as it has all the right military fittings.

The intended use by current owner was to install a water bore drilling rig onto back. Unfortunately or fortunately (you choose ) due to army load specs, this idea was abandoned.

I have asked the owner if he is willing to part with the 'old girl'. He is

Price $5,000 and it's all yours.

I want.

I wonder if I can convince my dad to buy it and drive it over for me?

...don't like my chances.

The exhaust extensions makes sense if it's spent it's life in padocks of dry hay. Don't want to start a fire!

Nice looking vehicle. that''s a lot of acco for $5k!

If it's a tray you want Charlie then just choose one (of 6) from this Welshpool yard

OK, good start!

Now what about low-sides; high sides (with seats); headboard; tailgate; hoops and preferably a canopy?

That should test him, he said with a wry smile

Nah! Don't like the colour of the air conditioner

Cheers Charlie

PS Actually I would love to have either (what a truck!), but it isn't worth the divorce.
