Well spotted Sam.

This S3 looks to have had the tub replaced as it is a different colour. The front LHS outer guard has also been replaced. Would be good to see interior pix and one of the motor.
There seems to be a plethora of ex army S3s coming onto the market lately. Even Perth has quite a few for sale.

Whats going on?

They are just being sold off by those that first bought them from auction, the timing is about right.


A good source of engine bay photos for me though

G'day Folks

Aah Ha, an FFR, and by the description still has the tables and operator's seat fitted, just had a hardtop fitted and a tailgate, easy re-conversion,all with original motor, I bet I know what happened to the clutch, standard common Series 3 problem looks pretty rust free too.
