My mechanic put a client onto us for parts for his series vehicle..


since comming here and looking around he is hooked and has bought 2 more Landys. I told him to join AULRO and it seems now REMLR.

He has just rung me with the chassis no and engine number of the newly acquired vehicle.


Can anyone tell me what "unk" before the chassis number in the REMLR site means...well I know Phoenix would but I only want to PM him if I can't get an answer here....he is a busy boy as you all know

as the chassis number and engine do not match but he did say there was a plate that said a similar thing

not sure but he has engine of 175-363 and chasis of 178-444 and he has the Bamford winch which is orinigal as well he is soooo excited about it oh I am too another restorer

Yes, UNK is unknown, probably refering to the engine number being unreadable because the notation has been changed, badly. Glad that he fou8nd his vehicle amongst it all!
