Bob was first class. I met him twenty years ago when roaming around in an Austin Champ. He got me interested in military vehicles and sold me the LRPV. Fortunately I caught up with him a short time ago.
He will be missed by many people.

Very sad to hear. I never met Bob personally, however had kept in contact with him for several years; as we had a shared interest in the Toyota FQ15. We had discussed starting a club several times and swapped info and pics regarding these vehicles. Its a sad coincidence to hear this news as i was about to send him a package with some new information.
