Identify This?

Was given this A-frame recently and was assured it was from a Land Rover. I can't find any photos of such things fitted to a land rover. Anyone have any idea??? The swivel coupling is a bit unusual also.

looks like the top half off of the 3 point linkage.

check the wide side they should just about line up with the hinge points on the rear cross member that the tailgate swings from.

Not L/R Afram ???

I dont think it's an A fram for a landrover, during my time in service I never saw a Afram for landrovers. Unit recovery was either by tow rope or loaded onto a truck. This item could be a RAEME part used for recovery.

Just checked, and no the wide end doesn't really line up with the tail gate hinges but nearly perfectly fits over the two eyes on the front chassis.
After thinking more, I don't think its built strong enough for towing anyway. Still a mystery??
Wouldn't be something to do with a wrecker set up on something???
