SIIA/III SWB Soft Top

Got the SIII SWB but it has a "made up" soft top fitted copied from the original.
Would like a genuine one.
Missed that one on Fleabay recently and passed up an Ozcam SWB years ago.
Now I need one.................................

Red Rocket

Are you still doing tarps?

Would you be interested in doing a Britt (MoD) pattern for a SIIa 109 FFW?

I think that they have little fenestrations for the antennae cables, no side windows and the sides have the flap that the Aus ones have attached to the rear flap.

But I guess an Aus pattern one without the side and rear windows would be O.K too.

If you know what you want........it can be made! No windows...no problems.

Start with the specs of a Aus pattern GS, so we know where we are starting from and add and subtract. I'll give you a cost.

Canopies

The difference between making a canopy for a LWB and a SWB is only the canvas quantity. There are the same number of straps, buckles, seams, etc. So the cost for a SWB "CR" canopy in green is $840. $870 in your mailbox.

It will be later in the year......trying to get the firefly finished first.

But now at least I have a contact whom makes them...

Many thanks

Be warned.

There won't be any canopies from here after the end of June. I'm going back to Mongolia and Russia for 4 or 5 months. Happy to send you an ex soviet military vehicle.(Good stuff)
If you can't afford a canopy now, pay a $250 deposit to get it made and it will be waiting when you have the rest of the money. I''ll have it sent to you then.
