Gday wannalandy, thats a nice looking rebuild you've got there. I am doing a S3 LWB FFR and putting a holden 173 in it (I may swap the 202 out of my short wheel base at some stage) I have done the casis in mat black kill rust and also all the exposed steel components. I was wondering what shockies you used on your rig as I have to get a set for mine. My rig has the standard military lift shackles and the military leaf springs. I also like the Range Rover wheels and tyres you put on your rig and I wasnt aware that they woud fit (Im new at this rebuilding game!)

The shockies are pedders gas ryders and the front ones are for a tojo hilux with 2 inch lift and the rear are nissan patrol with 2 inch lift . with all new rubbers and the steering damper i paid $715 for the lot . to be honest i would stick with the 173 as the 202's are known for floating pistons with a lot of revving . The wheel stud pattern is the same as early range rovers and discovery 1 wheels so i found out early on in this project .

Whats this 'MIGHT' business Mick Might is a non commital word so let me re-phrase that sentence.... I WILL get another packet of rivets and I WILL finish putting the tub strips in on THIS weekend.

When you HAVE finished, I WILL see a photo of the finished work won't I Mick.
