What he said. I only use gaskets when they are critical for spacing, otherwise it is silicone all the way. Even LR use silicone for the sump on Tdis - though a gasket is listed in parts manuals apparently...

Well after the Cooma trip and a week or so off the landy i have finally got back into getting Goblin finished . I was all Land Rovered out after cooma and just needed a break from landys for a week . Anyways I finished putting on the tub capping and bolted 1 side of the hard top on and have wired the rear indicators in . It's a start i guess so here's a couple of pics .

Have you decided on the 'Watermelon Red' paint trim yet?

Seeings i still have some of the magenta left i will use it . down the track i might repaint the magenta into the olive drab but still keep the rest kermit green.
