Elsa update

Slowly making headway with Elsa. Still waiting on the tax check to finish off the shed so im working on her outside at the moment. Mechanically she is complete. I fueled her up today but i cant get any action from the ignition with a fresh battery. I might have to give the starter a tap tomorrow. Dash lights work at least . I gave the front panels a lick of MOD green today as a bit of a test. I am happy with the result and this is the colour i have settled on. You can also see a test section of desert sand but i prefer the green. Still have to fabricate the side panels for the rear tub. I am in the process of drafting up an outline to take to a metal fabricator. If anyone can suggest a good alloy fabicator near Caboolture let me know. (I am sure i've asked this before but i am a bit absent minded). Anyhow heres the picture.

Dont worry photos are being taken. Shes got paint everywhere now except for the tub which is being cut up. Dash goes back in next. Floors were bolted in yesterday and doors properly hung.

G'day Mick

Ain't it a pain having a project out in the weather I'm desparately trying to make room in my garage so that I can put the GS under cover.

Looking good. Sand would look cool
