112 158 - 6043B

Been on back load for a while. Has finally arrived at home.

Firewall is not the best. Chassis ok, seem to be only surface rust.

Brake and clutch US. Brake lines will need to be replaced.

Was DPC, nice coat of house paint over it.

Came with what’s left of the rear canvas. So any one need a template, pm me.

112-158 1091961. Series 2 c6043B 1511124791 53100850--NSW.

6043B, Automotive Repair Shop, Truck mounted, 3/4 ton, GS, With Winch, Garage.

Rear/platform body number 59. 2/62.

Shes rough but should come up ok.

Cheers

Richard

G'day 69gs

Looks pretty straight Richard, and quite complete for it's age, do the engine no's match, and how startable is the motor, any water in the oil, what's the Radiator like, all in all , looks like a good mate for Lousie It would have started life as Deep Bronze Green, with full front guards, and modified later and repainted O/Drab

cheers

The termite prevailed ! Cheers Muddy!

The motor is a goer. 13/14 years since last fire up.

Firewall is terminal (Me thinks). Chassis only needs a small patch plated at rear, 50x50 mil.

Is still set up with a positive earth, electrical system.

Cheers,

Richard

G'day 69gs

I hope that you changed the oil BEFORE you stirred up that crud in the sump, and splashed all that acidic oil around that firewall looks OK to me, just a little bit of rust on the Left side, mine was worse than that on the right side, I just handmade plates then welded them in out of 2mm steel, and salvaged the pillar sections from another old rolled firewall but those sections are available now as rust repair section, both here and from O/seas ( better quality) and then you can replace the dead sections, the inside sections can be excised and trimmed with a die grinder and repaired

cheers
