Pintle Hooks

Can anyone advise if there are different sized Pintle Hooks? - that is are there specific military ones - or are they all relatively the same.

Thanks

Sam

different load ratings, different eye sizes, most common are 76mm, and all of the military pintle hooks ive seen are movable, as in the hook can rotate in its base

G'day All, The Series 2 had a Bradford type pintle hook which was not able to rotate, the later model Series 2A's etc were fitted with the later type Nato hook which does rotate, they are generally quite exxy even S/hand cheers Dennis

Well funny you should say Dinty - there are curerntly 3 on ebay located in Botany Bay, with a starting bid of $0.99 and no bids - ending on Sunday.

2 are fixed and one is the rotating one. I have my eye on the first one that is fixed to a Hayman Reece arm, that would fit my Jeep, but the other 2 look they have been taken off Landy's, and could be bolted straight back on.

Have probably cranked up the price now, but would be selfish not to tell you guys.

Happy bidding.

Regards

Sam
