try part no. MS20470A-6-6 this a pure aluminium rivet with a universal head [very unlikly to find MS20435 round head which land rover use] well i got that wrong.
3/16 inch diameter[ie 6/32nds] 3/8 in long[ie 6/16ths] the A is for the material 1100 soft.
i have just ordered a 1/4 lb of -6-9, which should appear on my doorstep tomorrow.
so if anyone up this way needs some call me.

Hummmm....errrr...aahh ......perhaps you could ask a air frame fitter whether he would like to befriend me......purely platonic, that is transcending physical desire and tending toward the purely spiritual or ideal with the end goal being that he endows me with all the rivets my little heart desires

what did i say 3 weeks ago?
1/4 lb delivered worked out to about 30 cents each, and i still have lots left.
but if our air force is going to buy them, [they get them from the same place] then they should be free by the time they reach us.
mind you, f111's don't use soft rivets.

Original Rivits

Ray,

I purchased several varities of rivits as well as the fastening tools from England a few years ago when I was restoring my Series 1. Like you I wanted it to look original and not have a poliferation of pop rivits where they shouldn't be. Can't recall the name of the firm now but I think they advertised in Landrover Owners International.

Cheers
Dunno
