1/4 lb delivered worked out to about 30 cents each, and i still have lots left. but if our air force is going to buy them, [they get them from the same place] then they should be free by the time they reach us. mind you, f111's don't use soft rivets. |

Original Rivits
Ray,
I purchased several varities of rivits as well as the fastening tools from England a few years ago when I was restoring my Series 1. Like you I wanted it to look original and not have a poliferation of pop rivits where they shouldn't be. Can't recall the name of the firm now but I think they advertised in Landrover Owners International. Cheers Dunno |
