There is a company in Brisbane that specialising in fueltank and radiator repairs and cleaning and resealing products, they are FTRS at Holland St Northgate Qld 4013 Ph Greg Stevens (07)3260 6197 or Mob. 0418 873 233 Website= www.ftrs.com.au

They do a internal liner that you apply yourself it is also a rust preventitive

They advertise in "Restored Cars Magazine"

thanks uncle and welcome back to cyberworld.

I'll give the other suggestions a crack first, it may not be that bad , I hope, the reddish coating and gunk i found when i took the bottom plug out, could be, I think, an accumulation of years of leaded fuel residue, that red colour you find in leaky carbs. plus a bit of other stuff. the pickup gauze was fairly clean and inact.


if it all gets too hard i always have the aluminium tank that came with the swb.its for a lwb. I'm picking that and all the other bits i came fit into the trailer , up from blayney later this week.
