Glasshouse Mountains and surrounds 2nd July
When: 2nd July
Trip Leader: Steve Subritzsky Rating 90% Easy, 10% Medium – all can be done in Freelander and Low Range not necessary. Meet at the BP/McD's service centre Northbound on the Bruce Highway just after Burpengary at 9.30am This is an easy trip with a some medium sections on mainly gravel roads and forest tracks but there are a couple of short, slightly more challenging sections including water holes (shallow). This is a chance to get up close and personal with the Glass House Mountains. There will be plenty of time for photo stops, and bring your walking shoes as there are a couple of short walks (1.5km max). There are plenty of toilets along the way too. The day will end back at the Bruce Highway near the Bribie turn off, or for those of you that want to make the trek to Bribie Island there will be a BBQ at our home – 55 Tradewinds Dr, Bribie Is. We have a hot spa pool and cold big pool for those brave enough for a swim, so bring your bathers, meat and drinks (salads provided). TO book, email tripco-ordinator@rangeroverclubqld.org.au or Steve or Chris for further details email stevesub@dodo.com.au
