Lets hope they stay true to their word and keep the iconic Volvo brand going. It seems to be an American past time to buy a company that has a far superior product than their own, poach the technology, and then flog it off to the highest bidder. GM did it to Saab (on the brink of extinction) and Ford has flogged Volvo off to the Chinese. No. Not a Johnny come lately brand, Volvo has been building cars since 1927. Lets hope the Chinese respect this.
