New toy

Hi all I have gone and got myself a new project

She is a 2a which I should a few of you guy's before







She is running a Valant 6 for now until I install the new goodies

Looks nice and straight, but needs some tidying up. The headlight arrangement is similar to the latest Santana.

Nice and straight. If you can keep the Val engine. Much better than a GMH. Have low down torque and will sustain revs. Also have better MPG than 2.25 or 2.6 landy engine. Just dont flog 1st & Rev gear or over use 3rd and it will be fine. If towing a Nissota use Second gear in anger

Just an update of whats been done so far


Newly covered rear seat


New front seats getting test fitted


Start of the rear draw system


County front end


3.5V8 & Lt95 box

Will hopefully be putting in the box and engine before christmas have to do some bulkhead repairs first and clean up all of the old owners add ons

was it originally a 4 or 6 cyl Landy?

If it was a 4, and still has the 4cyl front brakes, I may have a set of 6cyl front backing plates with cylinders (needing a reco) and drums (oversize and should be replaced). I'd recommend getting new drums, but if you need to upgrade the brakes and want the 6cyl units, you can have them for free + postage. Ditch the old drums to save on postage.

Just pm me. It's good to see a series being restored.

Judging by the gearstick, it looks to have been a 4 cylinder originally.



......Unless the box has been changed.
