The attached article was in todays (27/4/12) Canberra Times.

I'm pretty sure the Land Rover they are referring to is an 80" (not the one that is currently on display in the Snowy Scheme Collection which is either an 86 or 88" Series 1).

Is that the right Royal Land Rover?

The Snowy Scheme had almost the entire 1958 production of 107 Wagons so while it may be Snowy Hydro, the chance of it being the same one is remote.
