Ok Roger - when is the next high country trip?

IMHO Autumn is the best time down there so possibly early 2013 for the next VicHigh Trip.

However, I was thinking that the next one might be a semi recce style trip and not a fully accommodated one - possibly something like six nights bush camping and two nights accommodated (DB&.

Major trip next year, as discussed last week, will probably be a remote area (ie no roads or tracks for about a week) desert trip.
I must get around to updating the Activities Calendar.

Some great photos Roger - looks like like you covered a lot of ground. One question, where is that crossing of the Mitta Mitta?

Taylor's Crossing, about 15 to 20kms downstream of Hinnomunjie Bridge.

Fortunately we hooked the Forresters up before committing to the crossing. Even so, the flow took the rear of them downstream a little. Easier, safer and warmer to hook up on the bank rather than part way across.
