I still say "just buy a Defender" but you know how some people are:

Can we introduce some sort of demerit system for people who keep reposting this???
Carbon dated to 2003:

That is at least the 3rd time it has been reposted this year! (maybe Land ROver owners are just living 7 years in the past???)
And James - for someone who thinks diff locks are unnecessary, I am surprised you are interested.
Whoops sorry for the repost. I've never noticed it here which indicates your surprise is well founded, Ben.
lifts and difflocks only get me deeper in trouble.
One demerit accepted.
Yeah, James I am also guilty of reposting it!!! Makes you feel like a goose doesn't it?? Anyway, one day we will post something that hasn't been on before!!!
Lots of people say that, but I have never found it to be the case.
You never realise the benefit of lockers until you have them.
When going down steep hills, engaging the rear locker keeps the car straight and stops it running away when you get cross axled.
Lockers also mean you can drive most things at idle.
However, that said, WA is very flat and very sandy - so they aren't as valuable as in other states.
Maybe we can get some sort of demerit system for people who are intolerant of reposts....
