    Only in USA?

Here we are going again with a new legal action idea perhaps sponsored by the solicitors over there!

Woman, hit by car, sues Google for faulty directions

    and HERE

Now.......when will be the first case in Oz
We can make a poll with estimated dates

Just one of the many reasons I despise America and Americans.
    Scum...of...the...earth.

Having said that, Australia isn't all that much better...nor Britain.

Some people will try anything to:
    - Get some $$ easily
    - Absolve themselves of any responsibility

Hence the nanny state we end up living in.

    Wish I was a Judge.....

Is she going to sue the city council for not having a road sign idicating it is not safe for pedestrians or pedestrians not allowed on the carriage way?
Some people just do not want to admit when they are wrong or take responsibility for their own actions.
Sueing google is redicoulus, sueing the driver of the car that struck her may have some merit. I wonder where exactly on the road or road edge she was walking on when she was struck?

Quit you're whinging, subasurf. Americans are just human beings trying to make a life for themselves just like you and me. There are no doubt some dropkicks among them, but no more so than any other country. To speak of them the way you have does you no credit at all.

Doesnt mean she will be successful. Most of these rediculous lawsuits get thrown out of court and are never heard from again.

I dont mind americans, its just their lack of Landrovers that I dont like.

You've got it all wrong! In one of those reports she was "stricken"!

    stricken

adjective 1 seriously affected by an undesirable condition or unpleasant feeling. 2 (of a face or look) showing great distress

I guess she was "seriously affected by an undesirable condition or unpleasant feeling".
