Stuck in a hole and all alone?

Recently a friend of mine found himself hopelessly stuck, mostly because of a faulty winch, in the middle of the night and the vehicle he was with just didn't have the balls to pull him out. The local towing company charged him a thousand bucks just to show up and have a look. I find this absolutely disgusting. Save this phone number somewhere: 0439 554 005. If you find yourself in a similar situation call me and I'll come out and get you for the cost of fuel and a slab.

Hi Num. saved, if your down my way will return the favour as best I can with stock D2 no diff lock 18 in wheels with rd tyres. (What were they thinking???) Will fix that eventually funds permitting.

We met at Tallarook, I was the one with the camera travelling with Alien D2. Maybe a database of numbers in different locals would be a good thing?

Really, what a difference a day or so makes...

Last weekend there were more people in the wonnanngatta than I have EVER seen. I even saw the police trying to help recover a 4wd from a bog hole? (and a big audience watching).

If it was a Toyoat Surf it was prob him. Another reason I put this up is that DSE uses excess rescues as a reason to close tracks. If we can keep this sort of thing inhouse then we are much better off.

If you ring 000 they now put in touch with 4WD Vic..
They signed an accord with Victoria Police and a "local" club.
Wombat covered by Out West i think.
Cost is usually joining the club plus any gear dammaged, acording to what I've read
Not sure who covers trhe rest of our state.

Maybe a data bass of who would cover which areas.
    I'll start with Wombat.
Sugest just send a PM if heading that way to get the phone number and maybe a call to say all out.
Keeps the numbers of a public forum
    Cheers, Kyle
