stolen p38a rangie

Hi all, my good friends p38a was stolen from his residence in Coolum, Sunshine Coast, last night Is a 1996 model, black in colour,no exterior modifications, QLD rego 717LCL. Theives could be described as 'skilled' as they have managed to bypass the immobilizer unit. Lowlife scumbags.
I hope this is not going to become a 'sign of the times' as the economic situation worsens.
thanks
Evelyn

Not good news at all.

They must be extremely skilled as I have only ever heard of one P38 ever being stolen without the keys & that magically reappeared when the insurance co sent an investigator to sniff around.

Could it have been towed away?

No offence, but Why would someone steal a P38???

They're a great car, but surely there is something better to steal without all the effort! Did it have anything inside???

Hi Scouse, I would have to think not. The residence is in the posh part of town with a very steep driveway running down from a sharp bend on a narrow street. I've had to do a 10 point turn in the 110, just to get out of his carport. A local firms tilta tray [Claytons] has also gone missing. Hard to imagine even that being used, but hey we just never know hey.
I'm not aware anything of value was left visible inside. And yes why would you steal a p38a when there is much more valuable vehicles parked around this place. Practise perhaps.
cheers guys
Evelyn

What are you saying lucky bastard that someone stole it or the person who stole it was a lucky bastard.
I sincerely hope the owner finds his stolen Vehicle
Not sure I would steal one though

No one would notice a p38a on the back of tilt tray. It happens so often
