Most head gaskets can only go on one way.

Usually it is with the blue sealing material facing up.

Head gasket will have "front" or "top" stamped on it usually. This goes... dare I need to say it.... at the front AND on top....!

Cheers

Felpro and other brand names will have obvious writing on them but generic composites wont, i bought a set from LRA a few years that were identical both sides and a set i got from the UK is the same.

Progression so far!!!!

1. Bought Kingchrome degree wheel to set the head tension, piece of crap didn't work........ Money back thanks.

2. Spent 50cents on a protractor & put a cable tie on the extension bar.
much better...

Had no idea how tight the second 90degrees was going to be.... but one down, one to go...

UPDATE: Both heads supposedly correct now, time will tell. clean & bolt the rest of the crap up now.
