i drove it about 50k's down the highway.

Im gonna have to download RAVE again. If im not wrong the belt is ment to go under the tensioner correct? If so it has slipped off. It's about 2 inchs away from going back under using all my strength.

My biggest concern is the water pump. How loose and wobbly is the pully ment to be for these. It is very loose. I'm talking about the pully on the top right facing the engine just behind the power steering res.

In my old V8 days a wobbly pully on the water pump meant it was cactus. Same here?

Thanks for the help so far guys

Pump is cactus mate

If you're familiar with ebay you should look at this:
Landrover 300tdi Water Pump with Gasket - eBay Engine Parts, Engines, Components, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 21-Mar-10 21:49:36 AEDST)

Also, you need to use a 15mm socket and breaker bar on the tensioner to pull it upwards and get the belt back on

Just be aware (and I guess the same goes for everything) that you get what you pay for.

There's cheap pumps, and exxy pumps. I'd avoid the cheapies, they have tiny bearings in them, and are likely to drop you in the poo again.
