Magnafilter
Ladies & Gents,
I have been trolling the net looking for oil cleanliness solutions for work (mech engineer) and came across an intreging product i thought i would throw to the masses to see if anyone has picked up with it and seen how it goes. The US based filter company BOSS have some magnetic filtration options that are primarily aimed at cars and the like. They look at inline filtration for trannies and steering systems and screw on adapters (still inline) for spin on filters for engines. The website is Magnafilter Curious if anyone has comments on this, because i have seen some dodgy attempts at this type of filtration for cars in the past, but this seems to have the concepts and "big company" backing to be something worthwhile. Look foward to seeing what you guys come back with. Cheers Al |

Rick i would agree that spinners are a better option. The mag filter option i'm asking about it a simple implementation though, something that can be installed during a scheduled service or the like as opposed to a full fit up.. I also hate reinventing the wheel and trialing stuff that doesn't work or is gimmick ![]() Figured i'd ask to see if there'd been proven benefits, not just for land rovers
