priming after changing injector pump

Hi all
i have just replaced my injector pump on my tdi300 Disco 1.I have also replaced the timing belt as i had the cover off. After the replacement i can't it to start. All timing marks line up and injector pin is in. i have fuel to the injector pump and have cracked the injector lines to prim. i get small amounts fuel at each injector but still no go. i have run the battery flat 3 times trying to get it to start.?? have checked single wire on injector pump as well and the lift pump is new.
i'm a bit lost.

I would hazard a quess some how you may have it 180deg out if it does indeed apear timed, primed and fuel shut of solinoid is working etc. Unless you have a nasty air leak? Time it up again and go from there.
Edit...The above post should cover it ^^^^ Thanks abaddonxi.
