Classic V P38 chassis rail specs.

Chasing the specs for chasis rail difference from Classic 95 model to P38 95 model. Was offered a bull bar for a Disco 2 and from the forum i was led to believe they can be altered to fit. Have another bar which suits a Classic 95 model looks a better deal but will it fit and how much to modify. Problem is compounded due to wanting to install a high mount warn which i have already? Not wanting to by another winch as this one is new.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Frank.

The front chassis rail spacing is the same on D1/D2/RRC/P38A. I tried to fit an RRC bar to my P38A but while the rail spacing was the same, the shape of the bar precluded fitting.

A D2 bullbar can be made to fit as these pics of Jase's P38A attest:

Thanks Ron it looks great just what i wanted the only thing i can see that may be an issue is the high mount winch may have to sell it and get a standard which is a pity as i am told the Warn 9,000lb is bullet proof.
I will talk to the owner of the D2 bar may have to purchase a new ARB that looks very good.

If you are purchasing a new bar, why not buy one made to fit the P38A?

No offence regarding the Hard Range gear but i want a different look of bar and i want to mount a high mount winch as i have one from my Disco brand new unused. My vehicle is pre ADR 69 and i have confirmed it with Vic raods engineers and inspectors so i can try other units as long as the fit soundly
