You don't mention what type of vehicle this is for but I guessing a Disco of some sort..
I'd recommend max EGT alarm at 650 deg and water temp max at 97 deg. That's what I run on my 300tdi.
I'm sure there's some members out there that are a lot like myself, have installed a MadMan EMS, but are unaware of the 'normal' and maximum ranges, so unsure what to program into the EMS to set the alarms. So the purpose of this thread is to try to consolidate that information (as information is found I'll update this original post).
Automatic transmission oil temperature:
According to Ashcrofts Transmissions, a well recognised expert in the ZF automatic transmission fitted in the Land Rovers - Transmission Oil
Absolute maximum temperature (can result in damage) - 149*C (300*F).
Maximum allowable temperature for short durations such as a hill climb - 135*C (275*F).
Normal operating temperature range - 80*C (175*F) - 94*C (200*F).
Minimum operating temperature - 66*C (once the vehicle has warmed up from a cold start).
Exhaust gas temperature:

Maximum safe point - 720*C.
Normal range - 250*C - 680*C.
4WD Transfer box oil temperature:
