Feedback on Bridgestone Dueler M/T D674 vs Continental Cross Contact AT
I've rewritten this slightly for the technical forum from my original D2 post as I'm looking for any feedback from people who have either the Bridgestone M/T D674 or the CrossContact AT's on their vehicles (I have a D2).
I'm after an aggressive AT tyre as we do do some road miles when away/camping/etc., but it's not a daily driver so want decent performance for when I'm 4WDing - originally I had decided on Cooper ST Maxx but the Dueler M/T and Cross Contact are coming in at almost half the price so I'm (read SWMBO) thinking one of those two are an option to be considered.
From what I've seen on my Google and Forum search nobody in the World seems to have a set of the M/T D674
but at $193 fitted/balanced they seem like a pretty good deal.
The CrossContact ATs on the other hand seem to have a handful of reviews that either fall into the 'great' category or the 'they are european tyres not for Australian/side walls can tear' category. Again as I can get them for $210 fitted and balanced in Perth (245/75/16) they seem pretty good value.
At over $100 less per corner than Cooper ST Maxx it's looking like a pretty reasonable deal for either (I could buy 7 for the price of 5 Coopers!).

i do not think you will get much on the d674 as they are a new tyre, when i was looking for new tyres earlier this year they were not listed and on first impressions they look the goods and come in 245/70 which is handy for the d2 as keeps within the laws for tyre size.
maybe by a set and give us all a review.

Cooper AT3's. I got a good deal from tyre power kenwick last year for 245/75 16's.
They are pretty aggressive for an AT tyre, relatively quiet as well.
Sorry, I can't quiet remember the price, I'll see if I can dig up the receipt.

FWIW
I have almost worn out my first set of Cooper ST Maxx - they have been excellent no punctures in very hard going including extensive cross country in the desert. They are reasonable in mud and very good on gravel (I travel extensively in remote areas). Mileage has been very good. No hesitation in recomending them

I ended up with Toyo Open Country MT as the duellers were new and not in stock for a few months. I've been really happy with them and the road noise isn't too bad either. Off road they are awesome too - the gonna good thrashing today

No worries - would be great to hear your feedback - I'd have got them myself as I said but as they were so new they only had 4 in the country at the time and I need 5 and it was a 2-3 month wait

I have 674 in 245/70 size, seem to be wearing well, have not really pushed them hard off-road but certainly feel secure on dirt roads.
