    Alternative part

One of the things I noticed when I had to replace the uni-joints in my 93 defender, was that the ford falcon uni-joints are a perfect fit.

And the fact that they are only about $20 ea was just a bonus!

Also I have upgraded my lights to a Hella. Talk about a big difference, only using 55/60 globes, but the light output coupled with my old Hella spotlights is amazing. Is really worth the couple of hundred dollars and a few hours upgrading!

    Cheers
    Chris

Yep, seem to remember RRC uni joints were the same as those in the 351 falcons and IIRC holden 1 tonners.

HJ holden brake master cylinder kits were the same as RR as well (Repco/PBR 7757X)

I've got the number: K5L4R noted down that I used. Not sure of brand, but it was sourced through Auto One at Windsor, Sydney. It should be available from any Repco, Super Cheap, Auto One stores though!

Yes there was .... I think i started one once. I believe

that the clutch assy in the Valiant Charger is the same as the S1 200 TDI DIsco at about 1/3 to 1/2 the price.

Also the thermatic fan on the TDI models (not sure which ones) is the same as the one in the XF Falcon
