As you can see in the link they should be Timken Ashcroft Transmissions , afaik those under NWB license are manufactured in Hong Kong
I have just bought some bearings to put in my R380. Long story short, 2 of them are non OEM which are in Bearmach boxes. I opened them up and they're stamped NWB.
I' called 2 places today but they both only stock Bearmach. I questioned the brand, but both places assured me they are up for the job.
One of them is the rear layshaft support bearing which of course is well known for failure, so I'm a bit paranoid about putting crappy bearings back in.
Is OEM Timken for these? Are they still available?
General thoughts?

I would be wary of those brands too. Check Ashcrofts website for bearing types. As far as I know you can get all the bearings in timken cept the rear which is another brand due to the size, but is oem. Cant think of the brand at the moment.
Cheers Scott

Go for the Timken.

SupporterI wouldn't use NWB, both rear support bearings are RHP genuine, RHP stopped making them about a year ago although you may find a few with some parts suppliers, RHP wouldn't make them for me as LR own the design,
I get them made by NKE in Austria who are a quality brand and we have had no issues to date,
Dave
So much for being impatient and trying to source everything in 1-2 days locally. A week later I still don't have want I need!
I'm calling Ashcroft's this evening and ordering everything. Time to get this over with!
P.S. Thanks for the comments Dave.
